Drawing from multidisciplinary studies, it highlights the contrasting leadership approaches of family CEOs, who emphasize long-term stability and socioemotional wealth (SEW), and nonfamily CEOs, who prioritize professionalization, transformative innovation, and market responsiveness. The analysis reveals that family firms benefit from the complementary strengths of both leadership types, with family CEOs fostering cohesion and legacy, and nonfamily CEOs driving performance and external orientation. Contextual factors such as firm lifecycle, industry dynamics, and governance structures are critical in determining the effectiveness of leadership models. The study underscores the need for adaptive leadership strategies in balancing cultural continuity and professional advancement, offering a nuanced understanding of family firm dynamics.
Farah Qalbia, Seger Santoso Copyright (c) 2025 Studia Ekonomika https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://jurnal-mnj.stiekasihbangsa.ac.id/index.php/StudiaEkonomika/article/view/272 Tue, 21 Jan 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Business Model Innovation in Small Ventures: A Resource-Based Perspective on Managerial Ties and External Ecosystems https://jurnal-mnj.stiekasihbangsa.ac.id/index.php/StudiaEkonomika/article/view/273
This qualitative literature review investigates the role of managerial ties, external ecosystems, and the resource-based perspective in fostering business model innovation (BMI) in small ventures. By examining a range of studies, the review highlights how small businesses leverage managerial ties to access critical resources, knowledge, and networks that enable innovation. Additionally, the review explores the importance of engaging with external ecosystems, such as suppliers, customers, and research institutions, in enhancing the business model innovation process. Drawing on the resource-based view (RBV), the study emphasizes the significance of both tangible and intangible resources for successful innovation. The findings suggest that small ventures with strong managerial ties and dynamic capabilities are more likely to navigate the complexities of BMI. This review contributes to a deeper understanding of the factors that influence business model innovation in small ventures, offering valuable insights for both researchers and practitioners.
Grace Yulianti, Mohammad Chaidir Copyright (c) 2025 Studia Ekonomika https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://jurnal-mnj.stiekasihbangsa.ac.id/index.php/StudiaEkonomika/article/view/273 Tue, 21 Jan 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Analisis Alokasi Joint Cost dalam Menentukan Harga Pokok Produksi di Adilah Garden https://jurnal-mnj.stiekasihbangsa.ac.id/index.php/StudiaEkonomika/article/view/275
This study discusses the allocation of joint costs in determining the cost of production at Adilah Garden. Joint costs are costs incurred from processing raw materials until the product can be separated. The purpose of this study is to calculate the cost of production using the relative selling value method and compare it with the calculations made by Adilah Garden. The methods used are unstructured interviews and documentation, with source triangulation for data validation. The results show that the calculation of the cost of production through the allocation of joint costs is lower than the method used by Adilah Garden, which indicates the need for improvements in the company's cost accounting system.
Nur Fadillah, Nurfarizha Fazhirawati, Nina Yustina Yasmin, Rahayu Indrisari, Andi Chairil Furqan Copyright (c) 2025 Studia Ekonomika https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://jurnal-mnj.stiekasihbangsa.ac.id/index.php/StudiaEkonomika/article/view/275 Tue, 21 Jan 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Bridging the Gap: Exploring Borrowers' Perspectives on Peer-to-Peer Lending and Financial Literacy in Small Businesses https://jurnal-mnj.stiekasihbangsa.ac.id/index.php/StudiaEkonomika/article/view/274
This qualitative literature review explores the perspectives of borrowers in small businesses regarding peer-to-peer (P2P) lending and financial literacy. It examines the growing importance of P2P lending as an alternative financing option for small businesses, especially in contexts with limited access to traditional financial institutions. The review highlights that while P2P lending offers flexibility and accessibility, borrowers' financial literacy remains a critical factor in ensuring successful engagement with these platforms. Limited financial knowledge can lead to poor decision-making and repayment challenges. This study underscores the need for financial education to bridge the gap, improve borrowers' decision-making processes, and enhance the overall effectiveness of P2P lending in supporting small business growth. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of how financial literacy impacts borrowers' experiences with alternative financing models.
Mohammad Chaidir, Grace Yulianti Copyright (c) 2025 Studia Ekonomika https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://jurnal-mnj.stiekasihbangsa.ac.id/index.php/StudiaEkonomika/article/view/274 Wed, 22 Jan 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Laju Pertumbuhan, Efektivitas, dan Kontribusi Retribusi Daerah terhadap Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD) Kabupaten Sigi Periode 2019-2023 https://jurnal-mnj.stiekasihbangsa.ac.id/index.php/StudiaEkonomika/article/view/276
This study aims to determine the growth rate of effectiveness and contribution of regional levies to the original regional income of Sigi Regency during the 2019-2023 period.
